GAY JOURNAL

Despite all the struggles, and disappointments, I’m thankful first of all. I look around my life now and feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude and pride because I’m exactly where I envisioned myself to be. The victories and losses, the pleasure and pain, and the choices I’ve made: good and bad brought me HERE. It got me to this realization that right now is pretty great.

The year isn’t close to ending yet. I’m sure that a lot more things will happen in the weeks to come, but I find myself eager to write my year-end review for 2023. Maybe it’s because of the fact that most of the blogs that I’ve written this year are more informational instead of reflective.

I finally reached the point of burnout where I lost all energy and motivation to pursue my passion. I was doing too much out of habit even when it seemed like my efforts were heading nowhere.
