2024 Year-End Review: Glow-Up Achieved, but Work Continues

Despite all the struggles, and disappointments, I’m thankful first of all. I look around my life now and feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude and pride because I’m exactly where I envisioned myself to be. The victories and losses, the pleasure and pain, and the choices I’ve made: good and bad brought me HERE. It got me to this realization that right now is pretty great.

It’s Time for Letting Go and Surrendering Control – Practicing Non-Attachment

Trying to be in control around the uncertainties of the world and the unpredictability of people around, it’s hard to trust that everything will be alright. Expectations bring disappointment. With hope comes hurt. Love leads to heartbreak. I know that this is a pessimistic view of life, but I’d rather accept the worst-case scenarios as inevitable than get carried away by the possibilities only to be snatched from me at the last minute.
