Working from home? Everybody loves it so, of course, we are going to talk about it in detail! The pandemic has proven that work can be done anywhere you are, as long as you have a good internet connection. Joining us on this episode is Tiffany Tolones, one of the hosts of Hey, Sizt! Podcast who’s been working from home even before the pandemic. She shares her experience working from home, some tips for productivity and also some advice for good remote work performance.

Working from home isn’t all sunshine and rainbows. At the end of the day, we’ve got work to do and bills to pay. As the long-disbanded girl group, Fifth Harmony said: “You don’t gotta go to work. Work, work, work, work, work, work. But you gotta put in work”.

  1. Great episode! I agree with you that working from home/ freelancing is not all sunshine and rainbows. In fact, it’s a totally different ballgame that it is actually not for everyone.

  2. I’d love to work from home. I’m scared about consistency and then I have student loans, so… I pretty much boxed myself in since the payments only go towards interest. So dumb of me not to have that foresight, but you pay for bad decisions (in this case, I’ll be paying a good long while).

    There is career growth in WFH. However, this convenience and the huge salary aren’t enough for employees based on our own experience as employers. We have to extend our hand (on a personal level) in order to understand our employees. By simply asking about their hobbies and interests breaks the barrier, gains better communication, and builds better teamwork.
