Finding Inspiration and Success – How To Find Your Passion And Make It Work for You

Written by Alita Pacio

Finding inspiration and success isn’t easy, but it doesn’t have to be difficult. We’ve got some great ideas for making things easier on yourself.

If there is one thing, I am certain of, it is this: finding inspiration will successfully lead one through a voyage of happiness, hope, and a complete sense of one’s individuality. But how does one find inspiration and success in life?

When I am inspired, it brings a certain feeling of enthusiasm about my life. I am eager to set goals, chase my dreams, and do the things that make me happy.

But Inspiration for everyone is different. Some people find inspiration from those that have attained a certain level of success and happiness in their lives, others are inspired by nature and its wonder. For most, inspiration is key to a life of living meaningfully and achieving success in life.

When you are drifting and wandering around, with no direction as to where to go and what goal to pursue, you can become less and less motivated, losing your inner self-purpose and in time, become depressed.

One important note to remember is that inspiration is very much determined by one’s personal or career goals, and the direction that one wishes to live your life. If you want to live an abundant life, then the inspiration will be easily found in the life stories of those who have achieved success.

1. Know Yourself First.

If you really want something, you’re going to have to do more than just think about it. You need to find out who you are, what makes you tick, and what motivates you. Once you know these things, you can start following your heart.

When we talk about being inspired, we often mean that we’ve been moved by some sort of emotion. We might be inspired by love, hate, anger, fear, joy, sadness, or anything else. The thing is, though, if you’re truly inspired, you won’t feel those emotions; instead, you’ll feel a sense of purpose. And once you get that feeling, you’ll be motivated to act.

2. Set Goals.

So, let’s say you want to become an author. That’s not enough. You also need to set goals. What do you want to accomplish with your writing career? Do you want to write books? Or maybe you want to write articles for magazines or newspapers. Maybe you want to write short stories or even novels. Whatever it is, you need to figure out exactly what you want to achieve.

Once you know what you want to do, you need to set specific goals. For example, if you want to be a writer, you should set goals such as publishing one book per year or submitting five articles to different publications each month.

If you want to write for magazines, then you might set goals such as writing three articles per month or submitting two pieces to a magazine every other week. The key here is to set realistic goals. Don’t set yourself up for failure by setting unrealistic goals.

When I started as a blogger, I did not have grand goals with my blog. I was not even sure if I will be able to keep and maintain it. But from my journey, I learned a lot. Goals are important. Setting goals from the start will be your guide through the journey.

3. Don’t Let Fear Hold You Back.

One thing that holds people back from achieving their dreams is fear. We all have fears, but there are some common ones that hold us back. Here are three things to consider when facing your fears:

1) What do I really want?
2) Is it possible?
3) Will I succeed?

If you’re afraid of failing, then you might be afraid to try something new. However, if you’re afraid that you won’t succeed, then you might be holding yourself back from reaching your goals. The key to overcoming fear is to act. When you face your fears head-on, you’ll find that you’re able to overcome them.

If you’ve ever felt stuck in life, you know what it feels like to be paralyzed by fear. In fact, according to research, nearly half of Americans suffer from anxiety disorders. And while we often think of anxiety as being caused by stress, it can also come from other sources, such as our environment, genetics, and past experiences. Regardless of where it comes from, though, one thing is clear: if you feel anxious, chances are you’re experiencing some sort of fear.

4. Take Action.

If you’re not sure where to start, here are five steps to help you find out what you truly want:

1) Write down everything you think you should do.
2) Now write down everything you actually want to do.
3) Compare the two lists.
4) Do something!
5) Repeat as necessary.

The first step is to take some time to reflect on what you really want. You might be surprised at what comes up. For example, if you’ve been thinking about starting a blog, maybe you’d rather focus on writing instead. Or perhaps you’ve always wanted to learn Spanish, but never had the chance. Whatever it is, once you know what you want, you can move forward from there.

How to Find your Passion

Finding your passion is one of the most important things you’ll ever do in finding inspiration in life. It’s also one of the hardest. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Here are three simple questions to ask yourself.

Start by asking yourself what you’re good at.

If you’re not sure where to start, ask yourself these questions: What am I really good at? What makes me happy? What do I enjoy doing? What do I love? What do I feel passionate about? What do I care about? What do I find challenging? What do I excel at? What do I enjoy talking about? What do I enjoy teaching others?

Then ask yourself what you enjoy doing.

Once you’ve answered those questions, you should be able to narrow down your passions. You might be surprised by how much you enjoy something you thought was just a hobby before. And once you’ve found your passion, you’ll never go back to being bored again.

Finally, ask yourself what makes you happy.

If you’re looking for a career path that will make you happy, start with what you love doing now. What activities bring you joy? Do you enjoy helping people? Are you good at math? Do you love animals? Do you like spending time outdoors? Whatever it is, find out more about it. Then, think about what you’d like to do when you retire.

Finding inspiration, developing enthusiasm. Over to You

Know in your mind and your heart what you are capable of accomplishing. When uncertain, then you lose the game right there and then. You cannot ever accomplish anything when you first do not believe that you can. Find your inspiration and success. Know your passion and act on them.

Keep in mind that every act begins with either a positive or negative thought, where positive thoughts gain positive results. Be very certain on what you want to do, to achieve and to become and concentrate on those thoughts each day.
