Gay Clubs in Metro Manila
RAMPA Drag Club
Location: 40 Eugenio Lopez Dr. Brgy. South Triangle, Quezon City
Operating Hours: 8:00 PM onwards – Wednesdays to Sundays
RAMPA Drag Club is co-owned by the Divine Divas from Drag Race Philippines season 1 winner, Precious Paula Nicole, Brigiding, and Vinas Deluxe with director and child-star, Ice Seguerra. RAMPA’s stage design is quite impressive, featuring an LED runway or catwalk that makes every drag performance a psychedelic experience. RAMPA’s drag queens called the RAMPA REYNAS are each super talented. Every performance was unique, polished, and full of surprises. My friends and I attended their grand opening last February 10, 2024 and we were thoroughly entertained throughout their entire show! Props to the RAMPA Movers and RAMPA Boys as well. We loved everybody’s energy and it was apparent that everyone in the club felt included and had the night of their lives! Looking forward to visiting RAMPA again for another night to remember!
O BAR Philippines
Location: South Dr, Pasig, Metro Manila
Operating Hours: 10:00 PM – 3:00 AM
O BAR is Asia’s finest dancing drag queens and is ranked among the top safe queer spaces in the Philippines. O BAR is known for its spectacular drag performances from lip-sync performances, to celebrity impersonations and aerial acrobats! The world-class talents of the local drag queens will surely entertain you. O BAR is the home of not one, but two crowned Drag Race Philippines Super Stars: Precious Paula Nicole and Captivating Katkat. Other famous queens from Drag Race Philippines are Turing, Brigiding, Bernie, and Dee Dee Marie Holiday.
I’ve visited O BAR a couple of times, and I always had an enjoyable time! You’ll be amazed at how well-practiced and polished the queens are with their shows. In this article from Inquirer where they had an interview with co-owner of O BAR, Ruper Acuna “I run the entire show with the girls every night from 8:30 to 10:30, ironing out blocking and lights.” Your eyes will be glued to the stage and your jaw will drop to the floor upon seeing the queens perform. They not only utilized their massive stage but also the air space where some queens do death-defying stunts! You’ll surely be shouting and clapping at the end of every performance and giving your dollar tips! Their drinks and food are also fairly priced. I can say that if you’re thinking of paying a visit to O BAR, it will surely be worth it!
Nectar Nightclub
Location: The Fort Strip, 5th Avenue, Corner 26th St, Taguig, 1634 Metro Manila
Operating Hours: Opens 10:30 PM
Nectar Nightclub is where a lot of LGBTIQA+ people flock if they want to party in the heart of BGC. Nectar is a DJ-driven club known for its themed parties featuring drag queens and go-go dancers! One of the anticipated events of Nectar Nightclub is DRAG CARTEL where local queens will compete with one another through a series of drag challenges, following a certain category. Some legends that came from Nectar Nightclub whom you may be familiar with from watching Drag Race Philippines include Marina Summers, Eva La Queen, Minty Fresh, OV Cunt, and Prince.
From my visits to Nectar Nightclub a couple of times, there are a couple of good and bad things. This is one of the prime gay bars here in Metro Manila which means that there would be a chance you’ll happen upon some local celebrities or influencers. I like the modern interior of the place, but there isn’t much space inside the club which doesn’t leave much room for partying. You can expect the club to be fully crowded, especially during the time of the week when there’s free entrance. The stage is also quite small so there isn’t much space for the drag queens to move around or do over-the-top performances. The food and drinks are also quite expensive compared to other local gay bars.

It is so much fun to be gay here in the Philippines at this time. These gay bars are safe spaces for us LGBTQIA+ people to express themselves and celebrate who we are. I bet you won’t even notice your drinks or food anymore because of you well you’ve been entertained by our top-notch drag queens and go-go dancers. I went to bar last in 2013, when I turned 20. But these gay bars they sound good!
Looks like this would be a lot of fun. And the dancers look very talented, which is always a plus.
Lots of choices! These all sound like fun spots to check out.
I can’t remember the last time I went to a bar. I’m so out of the loop. Eat, work, sleep…rinse, repeat.
Great post! Do you have a favorite bar on the list?
O bar definitely!
A window into a fascinating world that I know nothing about. Very interesting.
